Lord Mayor's visit 2014

When the Lord Mayor conducted his annual visit to the homes in November 2014 he was asked to open the new pathways which had been funded from grant-making trusts in the area. The pathways replaced a set of steps with a series of pathways ‘on the level’ – making access for the elderly ladies so much easier.

Councillor Shafique Shah, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham (ex-officio Chair of Trustees) declared the pathway open and stayed for afternoon tea with the ladies and allowed some of them to model his chain of office.

The Trust is grateful to:  Baron Davenport Trust, Henry James Sayer Charity, Douglas Turner Trust, and GJW Turner Trust for their support.
